Introducing Imagine Nation Studio Sundays!
Every Sunday from 12-3 PM, children and their favorite adult can drop by the Museum for free, themed art activity. Available for kids of all ages to learn about art and to give them the opportunity to create their own art project in the studio. There will be different art project featured each week.
Funding for Imagine Nation Studio Sundays is provided by Peoples Natural Gas.

Imagine With Me - Crazy Quilts
Developed for pre-school / kindergarten children and their favorite adult, these 90-minute art classes are a way to spark creativity and connect with your child.
Create your very own miniature quilt! Color, cut and add your own designs! You'll also see the exhibition Rooted in Tradition: Art Quilts from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.

Be an Artist - Cool Collage
Developed for children ages 7-10, these fun-filled 2-hour art classes ignite creative experimentation while teaching fundamental art techniques.
Check out the landscapes in the museum's permanent collection. Then you will see what it's like to sketch outside and create an amazing collage from everyday materials!

Be the main character in a painting that tells a story! Tour the exhibition Associated Artists of Pittsburgh: Celebrating a Century of Art and get inspired. In the studio you'll use paint and real artist canvas to create a narrative painting.
