Imagine there's a special place just for you at The Westmoreland with lots of fun activities. Join our Imagine Nation Kids Club and you'll learn about art and artists, play fun games and discover new art projects. DISCOVER Backpacks!
Take a Museum journey with our free Family Backpacks, full of gallery games and activities. Three different adventures to choose from - still life, landscape and portraits. Check out one of them in the lobby on first floor.
KidSpace
Visit our creative KidSpace, a wonderful hands-on place for families to explore art. KidSpace is a fun and educational new area where children and their families can explore works of art together. This gallery has interactive kiosks featuring videos created by kids and grown-ups and highlights special school and Museum projects. There also is a creativity station where little ones can create their own work of art.
Studio Sundays
Families are invited to visit every Sunday from 12-3 PM to do a free art project. Each month will have a different theme and each week is a different project, so you'll want to stop by regularly for a fun day at The Westmoreland. This program is sponsored by Peoples Natural Gas.
Second Saturday Studios
The Museum offers studio art classes on Saturday mornings once a month. Imagine with Me are 90-minute art classes designed for children in pre-school and their favorite adult and are a fun way to spark creativity and connect with your child. Be an Artist studio classes are developed for children ages 7-10. These fun-filled 2-hour art classes ignite creative experimentation while teaching fundamental art techniques.
Summer Art Camps
Every summer, we offer week-long art camps where children can expand and explore their creativity through innovative and engaging programs taught by professional artist instructors. Each week is a different theme featuring tours, field trip and cool Imagine Nation t-shirt.
Family Days
Throughout the year, The Westmoreland has free family days featuring a variety of fun art activities and entertainment for children and their favorite adults!
